Meet Our Leaders:

Minister Robin Reeves, Ministry Leader

Robin C. Reeves is a native Washingtonian, born to the late Rev. Robert L. Elmore and the late Evangelist Hortense Elmore of True Gospel Baptist Church. Minister Reeves joined

There’s Hope Christian Church in the latter part of 2008, seeking a closer walk with God and a strong desire to serve in the kingdom and community. She expressed her love and desire for helping people that are in need by orchestrating a food drive and praise fest for Thanksgiving of 2009.  Who would have thought that this one-time event would turn into a ministry all by itself? That one event alone fed two hundred Montgomery County Public School families for the holidays as well as one hundred other families in the Gaithersburg Community. Under Minister Reeves’ leadership, There’s Hope Christian Church

has received recognition six years in a row from the Honorable Isaiah Leggett for serving Montgomery County families through the Linkages to Learning Program.
  • Minister Reeves received Christian training through her Pastors Booker and Betty Terry. The variety of Christian Discipleship and leadership training, that is offered through There’s Hope Christian Church.
  • Successfully completing Ministry training at New Destiny Fellowship International with Apostle Thomas W. Weeks Sr., Minister Reeves was obedient and accepted the gospel Call on her life in May of 2011.
  • Minister Reeves currently serves as the Program Director of Five Loaves and Two Fish Enrichment Center (FLTFEC).

  • In addition, in 2009 Minister Reeves initiated the monthly program “Real Talk,” a Christian-based support group based on Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
  • “It is my desire to help people like myself that are hurting and lost. That they may come to know and love who God has created them to be. A healthy and confident state in God. I’m just giving back what was given to me.”
  • Minister Reeves is presently seeking her Master’s in Psychology with emphasis in Substance Abuse, and is a student at Grace and Mercy Ministries Bible and Seminaries under the instruction of Dr. Loretta Rich and Dr. Alvin Rich.
